This is seriously one of my most favorite times of the year. The air is crisp (well... It is supposed to be but it has been unseasonably warm on the east coast this year). It is time to break out your plaids, chunky sweaters and heavy trench coats. My friends and I were a bit worried that because we were going apple picking in the middle of the October that the trees would have been picked over and the apples would be mealy, ugh I can't stand mealy apples! Thankfully the apples were perfect, ripe and so big!! We ventured two hours away from the big city to Minard Farms, near New Paltz, NY. Our day was filled with laughs, apple cider, Apple cider donuts, apples (DUH!) pumpkin picking and a fantastically yummy lunch at a local eatery called the Gunk Haus!
Fashion Week was such a whirl-wind but it was so much fun! I notice that I always end the week extremely tired but oh so happy because of all the good times. The shows this season defiantly topped last season. I loved all of the color and patterns that were seen on the runway. It makes me so excited for next Spring!
During Fashion Week, I wanted to dress in a way that would reflect my personality but I also wanted to wear something that would be easy to wear going from show to show and from day to night.

It is true that people I need to vacation more often then they do. We wanted that chance to get away, refresh and reset our mindset. On vacation you are able to find inspiration again and get your creative juices flowing.
Living in a big city like New York sometimes doesn't help either you constantly have things to do appointments, meetings you never get a chance to catch your breath but don't get me wrong there's no other place in the world I rather be.
